]]> I rarely write reviews but I had to stop and share my experience purchasing a home with The House Store in Knoxville, specifically with my agent, Racia Lawson. Talk about personalized service! Racia spent a lot of time listening to my needs. She was very supportive and gave great advice about navigating the process of choosing the perfect home. We worked closely together as a team. She was patient and flexible with me with each showing. She was excellent at choosing possible candidates based on my criteria.  Towards the end (I am picky, lol), she could pretty much judge my reaction to the houses we looked at. She would call excitedly to tell me there was one she thought I would like. It made the process so much fun!

During the offer and contract process, I felt my interests were always protected. She communicated effectively and clearly. She got answers to my many, many questions and we were able to get most of the things we asked for and what I think was a great deal. We had to deal with a troublesome issue from the listing agent but she and Amy, broker-owner of The House Store, went over and above their duty to make things right, even though it was not their responsibility!! I was blown away actually. It is unusual for businesses to take the kind of interest in their client’s happiness that they showed me.  Their ethics are unquestionable. I will always use Racia as long as she is in the business and I highly recommend her to everyone I know!! It is always good to know people who will “Do the right thing” just because!
