Real estate has been a part of Racia Lawson’s life since 1998. What started with a love of looking at houses, helping people and having the flexibility that a career in real estate offered has grown into a career built on experience, relationships, knowledge and service.
A Roane County native with deep roots in the community, Racia has also called Knoxville home for the past 15 years. Her knowledge of both communities and the surrounding areas gives her a unique perspective on the local real estate market and the people she serves.
With more than 25 years of experience in real estate and a Broker’s License since 2016, Racia brings experience in negotiation, problem-solving and navigating the many moving parts of a real estate transaction. She also serves as Office Manager at The House Store, where she is involved in agent training and supporting the growth and development of other REALTORS®.
Racia believes that you never stop learning. She continues to pursue education and professional development so she can stay informed and continue providing knowledgeable, dependable service to her clients. Her professional designations and education include GRI – Graduate, REALTOR® Institute and e-PRO certification. She is a member of the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS®, Tennessee Association of REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS®.
Relationships That Go Beyond the Transaction
For Racia, real estate is about much more than a contract and a closing table. It is about relationships.
Through years of networking and involvement in the real estate community, she has built relationships with trusted professionals throughout the industry—including lenders, home inspectors, insurance professionals, contractors and other service providers. Those relationships allow her to help connect clients with trusted resources when they need a painter, roofer, plumber, HVAC professional or other service after the transaction.
Racia also hosts the weekly real estate podcast Keys to the Market, where she brings in industry professionals to provide valuable information for buyers, sellers, investors, homeowners and renters. Guests have included lenders, inspectors, insurance professionals, plumbers, HVAC professionals and others who help consumers better understand the many aspects of real estate and homeownership.
Community Matters
Giving back is an important part of who Racia is. She has been involved in a variety of community organizations and initiatives throughout the years, including Chamber of Commerce leadership and committees, Junior Achievement, Roane County Leadership, Relay for Life and other local community efforts.
She believes that being a REALTOR® means being invested in the communities you serve—not simply conducting business in them.

Beyond Real Estate
Outside of work, Racia enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children and their growing family of grandchildren—soon to be five! She is also a proud dog mom to Nash, her best furry friend.
